about
I had a professor in college ask us, "what does a graphic designer do?". The answer was problem solving. That really resonated with me. If there was one thing that I do on a day to day basis, it would be problem solving. Trying to find the intersection of what looks good and what conveys the message is more than just making something look pretty. Finding the fastest process to get a lot of things done in a short amount of time is more than just graphic design.
In my spare time I like to get away from the digital realm and get back to the basics working with my hands, painting, sculpting, and building. Trying to find balance with digital art and traditional art.
